1. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Singles Treffen platform, including our website at www.singles-treffen.com and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Singles Treffen UG, Thurn-und-Taxis-Platz 6, 60313 Frankfurt am Main, Germany ("we", "us" or "Singles Treffen").

By registering for an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Singles Treffen UG.

2. Account Requirements

To use Singles Treffen, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. The Service is strictly for adults only.
• Be a human individual (accounts for organisations or bots are not permitted).
• Provide accurate, truthful and up-to-date information when registering.
• Maintain only one personal account. Multiple accounts are prohibited.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
• Not create an account if we have previously banned you from the Service.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to verify your identity and age at any time.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities when using the Service:

• Creating a fake, misleading or impersonation profile.
• Posting photos of another person without their consent.
• Harassing, threatening, bullying or intimidating other members.
• Soliciting money, financial information or gifts from other members.
• Sending unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
• Posting sexually explicit, violent or offensive content.
• Attempting to circumvent our safety or verification systems.
• Using the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Scraping, crawling or otherwise extracting member data in bulk.
• Interfering with or disrupting the technical operation of the Service.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without prior notice.

4. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the account settings page or by contacting support@singles-treffen.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or if your conduct is harmful to other members or the platform. We will endeavour to provide notice where possible, but are not required to do so for serious violations.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion is subject to the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that all members are who they claim to be, despite our verification efforts.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Singles Treffen UG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the incident giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under German law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Singles Treffen UG from any claims, losses or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Service.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law or other factors. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
